Telescopic boom conveyors are an industry standard solution for (un)loading of loose loaded trailers and containers at a warehouse dock door. Telescopic boom conveyors are belt type conveyors that can extend into the back of a trailer or container, allowing operators to load onto or unload from a conveyor directly in front of them, the boom can be extended or retracted to move the (un)loading point as the container or trailer fills up or empties, removing the need for operators to walk from inside the trailer to inside the warehouse with product, or vice versa.
Telescopic belt conveyors from North Conveyors can be used to (un)load any type of loose-loaded cargo, typically parcels, boxes, sacks & tyres (accommodating a wide range of shapes, sizes, and weights). Intuitive control buttons are located on the side of the conveyor that allows precise control of the boom’s elevation and telescopic movement. Push buttons located by the (un)loading position at the end of the boom, control the activation, lights, belt direction, elevation, etc.
