Telescopic boom conveyors are an industry standard solution for (un)loading of loose loaded trailers and containers at a warehouse dock door. Telescopic boom conveyors are belt type conveyors that can extend into the back of a trailer or container, allowing operators to load onto or unload from a conveyor directly in front of them, the boom can be extended or retracted to move the (un)loading point as the container or trailer fills up or empties, removing the need for operators to walk from inside the trailer to inside the warehouse with product, or vice versa.

We offer total extended machine lengths ranging from 12,000mm up to 28,500mm.

Options

  • Traversing chassis, enabling the movement of the boom between dock doors on rails.
  • Fully mobile chassis, enabling the movement of the boom around a warehouse on self-powered wheels.
  • Slewing chassis, enabling a pivoting action from the back end of the boom.
  • Hydraulic tilt function to enable operators to raise or lower the end of the boom.
  • Operator platform, providing a comfortable standing position for an operator and enabling the operator to control the machines telescopic action and raise and lower function. The man rider option allows an operator to stand and load/unload while standing on the platform and enable them to reach the top of the load in the trailer or container.
  • High level chassis, for applications where there is no raised dock on the customers premises.
  • Integration of infeed or outfeed conveyor transfer, enabling a feed to or from an automated conveyor system.
