January at North Automation Group
As we kick off the new year, North Automation Group is pleased to share some exciting developments, new capabilities, and a few memorable moments from our team’s recent travels.
New Demo Unit in the UK: Toppy Falcon Wings Splitter -Mobile Pallet Changer

We mentioned our exclusive UK agent agreement for Toppy side press pallet exchangers in our last company update.
We’re now thrilled to announce that we have a Toppy Falcon Wings Splitter – Mobile Pallet Changer available for live demonstrations here in the UK.
This incredibly versatile machine is designed for safe, efficient pallet exchange without manual lifting, and it’s especially valuable for sectors where hygiene, product safety, or damaged pallets create operational challenges. Having a unit means our customers can now experience its capabilities first-hand, see real‑time performance, and explore how it could streamline their own workflows.
If you’d like to book a demo, our team is now scheduling them and you can book one by getting in touch!
Team Visit to China: Culture, Tech, and Amazing Adventures
Earlier this month, two members of our team travelled to China and returned with plenty of stories, insights, and inspiration.

Experiencing Shanghai’s Food and Skyline
Between meetings, they had the chance to explore China’s incredible culinary scene and its incredible views. From street food stalls to impressive restaurants overlooking the city’s futuristic skyline, they got to enjoy plenty of great meals! They even got to visit Shanghai, where the views left a particular impression.
High‑Speed Rail in a League of Its Own
China’s rail network was another highlight. Travelling between cities on high‑speed trains reaching over 300 km/h offered a smooth, efficient experience that made domestic travel remarkably easy.
Living Cashless With WeChat Pay
Daily life in China is powered by digital payments, and WeChat Pay quickly became essential. Whether buying snacks, scanning into attractions, or grabbing a taxi, everything ran through QR codes. It was a seamless introduction to just how frictionless mobile payment ecosystems can be.
Translation Triumphs With Google Translate
With limited English signage in some areas, Google Translate became a lifesaver. It made menus readable, helped with directions, and even simplified conversations where language barriers could’ve made things tricky.
Navigating a New Country
Of course, no international business trip would be complete without a few challenges. Navigating an unfamiliar public transport system and the occasional wrong turn were all part of the adventure – but overall the trip was a huge success!
Our First Live Case Study is Officially Published
