Company Update: Previously on North Automation Group…

Overview

As we step into a new year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the progress we’ve made and share what’s next for North Automation Group. 2025 was a year of transformation – marked by many advancements and achievements for our company. These achievements have positioned us to deliver smarter, more efficient solutions for our clients across the UK and beyond.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and shaping the future of material handling. Here’s a closer look at what we accomplished and what’s on the horizon.

UK Exclusivity – Toppy Pallet Exchangers

One of our proudest achievements in 2025 was securing an exclusive UK agent agreement for Toppy side press pallet exchangers. This partnership allows us to offer cutting-edge pallet handling solutions that improve efficiency and safety for businesses across multiple sectors. It’s a major step forward in expanding our capabilities and delivering premium automation technology to the UK market.

3D Printing Conveyor Parts

Innovation was at the heart of 2025, and our work with additive manufacturing is a prime example. We’ve been experimenting with a range of advanced materials, including Polypropylene, Carbon-Filled Nylon, Polycarbonate, TPU, alongside more common options like PLA and PETG, and even translucent materials.

These materials have been used for both production and testing, enabling us to prototype conveyor components quickly and cost-effectively. This approach opens the door to customisation, reduced lead times, and smarter design possibilities – key benefits for clients looking to stay ahead in a competitive market.

New Marketing Executive

We also welcomed a new face to the team in 2025!
Cait joined North Automation Group as our Marketing Executive, bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to help share our story and showcase the incredible work our team is doing. Fun fact: Cait’s two cats have become honorary members of our virtual meetings!

New Premises in Wallsend

2025 also marked a major milestone for North Automation Group with the acquisition of our new premises and workshop in Wallsend. This move gives us the space and resources to expand our capabilities.

The new facility is designed to support manufacturing processes, including our growing work in 3D printing conveyor components and designing our own conveyor, as well as providing a dedicated area for testing and assembly.

This investment reflects our commitment to growth and innovation – creating a hub where ideas turn into reality and where we can continue pushing the boundaries of material handling technology.

Strengthening Our Position in Telescopic Boom Conveyors

2025 was also a year of strategic focus. We’ve been working behind the scenes to strengthen our position in the telescopic boom conveyor market, ensuring we’re ready to meet growing demand for flexible, high-performance loading and unloading solutions.

While we can’t share all the details just yet, exciting developments are on the horizon. Watch this space – we’re preparing to bring something new.

Maintenance and Rapid Response

Beyond new projects and innovation, 2025 showcased one of our greatest strengths reliable maintenance and emergency support. When critical equipment fails, downtime can be costly. That’s why we’ve made it a priority to respond quickly and effectively, even for machinery we didn’t originally supply.

One standout example was a Robopac turntable wrapper breakdown on a Saturday. The customer relied heavily on this single machine, and within 24 hours, we had it back up and running – minimising disruption and avoiding a major operational headache.

Another case involved a heat shrink machine repair, again not supplied by us, but restored to full functionality in record time. These interventions highlight our ability to step in when others can’t, providing expertise and solutions that keep production lines moving.

We’ve also carried out maintenance on conveyor systems supplied by companies that are no longer trading, helping frustrated customers regain confidence in their operations. This flexibility and commitment to problem-solving have become a defining part of our service offering.

When it comes to maintenance and breakdown support, we don’t just fix problems – we help businesses avoid costly downtime and keep their operations running smoothly. It’s a capability we’re proud of and one we’ll continue to build on in 2026. If you need maintenance or breakdown support from us, even if the product was not supplied by us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Looking Ahead

2026 promises to be another exciting year. We’ll continue to explore 3D printing innovations, strengthen partnerships, and develop solutions that make material handling smarter, safer, and more sustainable.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and team for making 2025 a year to remember. Here’s to driving automation forward – together.
